An interesting list of the Top 15 Security/Hacking Tools & Utilities. I’ll bet there’s at least one or two tools you have not heard of before. Not all of the tools are for Linux, some are for windows, such as “eraser”, an advanced security tool (for Windows), which allows you to completely remove sensitive data from your hard drive by overwriting it several times with carefully selected patterns.

One notable tool for Linux that was notably not on this list is an app called Metasploit. They have a Blog, which may I warn is not for the newbie.
